International environmental politics
What I learned in this class was an amazing experience that will last for a lifetime. In the class, we learned about the impacts of climate change in a variety of different areas and regions in the world. From the arctic to indigenous populations in Brazil, I now consider myself to be well-versed in the subject of international environmental politics.
International Agricultural geography
I worked on two main essay projects for this class. After learning the basics of agricultural geography and learning more about the world's agricultural practices, from the historical food patterns of sugar to food insecurity to the corn dilemma in rural United States, this class was enlightening in many ways. The two research essays I wrote about were on the subjects of food patterns in Brazil and the understanding the resulting food insecurity in the country, while the other was on biofuels and their role in today's society. politics of the middle east
In this class, I really learned a lot on the politics of the middle east and the many conflicts in the region that have occured over centuries. Going into not only the international relations between middle eastern coutries, in the class we also studied and went into the nitty gritty politics and structural governments of a variety of nations in the middle east. This is something that I will never forget about, in my opinion, and was essential in my pursuit of knowledge in the international arena.
